Helicopter Crash Leaves Four Dead in Colusa County
Aug 13, 2021 12:00AM ● By Colusa County Sheriff's OfficeCOLUSA COUNTY, CA (MPG) - On August 1, 2021 at 1:15 pm, the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a helicopter crash in the area near Hwy 45 at Reservation Rd, Colusa, CA. The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene along with Sacramento River Fire personnel.
Upon arrival, located in a tomato field, first responder personnel located four passengers on board the helicopter. The passengers were confirmed deceased at the scene. The passengers were identified as William Bernard Vann age 67, Suzanne Marie Vann age 60 and Bobbie Lee Keaton age 62 all from Williams, CA. The fourth passenger was identified as Charles Thomas Wilson age 71 from Rocklin, CA. Official cause of death is undetermined at this time and autopsies are pending.
