Marysville, CA (MPG) – Finding the ideal location to open their new gun store, RB Brinkley chose to open recently in downtown Marysville where they hope to make many new friends.

With the motto “We Aim to Please!”, they offer an environment that is friendly, inviting and certainly laid back.  They offer coffee, tea, cold water and a great place to just hang out for some down-to-earth gun talk with all their friends.

As a family-run business by lifelong Yuba- Sutter residents, they bring over sixty years of experience in this industry.

As an expert, RB Brinkley Gunsmith is federally, state and local licensed. Rex is a is licensed as a Title 1 manufacturer of firearms and ammunition, who may also act as dealer. Rex is a registered permit instructor.

Rex opened RB Brinkley Gunsmith in 2013 and has been running the business by himself from his living room for the past eight years. Covid slowed the aspirations of opening a local shop of his own. But it is now a reality.

In order for his dream of his own store front to come true he would need some help to make it happen. His daughter Debi retired from Registered Nursing to help her father. Now she is learning all the aspects of the business to help make it a success. 

Rex’s grandson, Jonathon Helton, a Marine Corps veteran, will also now be working full time in the new shop. 

Rex's other grandson, Michael Helton, is also working in the store managing inventory.

The Brinkley’s sell new and used firearms, ammunition, and accessories.  They have FSC instructors on site.   They also offer gunsmithing by college certified gunsmiths. 

The Brinkley team can offer same day gun cleaning. You can call to make an appointment, and maybe get a nice cup of coffee while you wait?

RB Brinkley Guns is located at 332 D Street in Marysville at the corner of 4^th and D Streets. For those in from the neighborhood, it is in the old Armor Pawn and Loan building.

The Brinkley’s do accept all major credit cards, cash and checks for purchases.
