YUBA-SUTTER, CA (MPG) - The Sutter County Community Action Agency and Yuba County Community Services Commission are inviting proposals from qualified private nonprofit, public or faith-based organizations that are capable of operating programs that provide services to Yuba-Sutter’s low-income population and empower them to achieve self-sufficiency.

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds of approximately $240,000 for each community action agency will be distributed to area service providers with the expectation that services will be provided Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2025.

Areas of service in which the Community Action Agencies have determined priority needs exist are homelessness prevention and reduction, food security and access to health services (including mental, behavioral, physical and alcohol/substance abuse).

Proposals must be received no later Thursday, Oct. 31 by 3 p.m. Proposals received after this deadline will not be considered for funding.
