YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) – On Friday, Nov. 8, the Yuba City High School Honkers hosted a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section, Division Four, playoff game against the Sierra Timberwolves. It was a close scoring affair with Sierra edging out the Honkers with a final score of 26-20.

The Timberwolves traveled up from Manteca for the playoff game with a season record of 5-5 and the ninth seed in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section, Division 4. With its win the Timberwolves will now travel to Lincoln to take on the number one seeded, and undefeated, Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos, on Friday, Nov. 15.

The Honkers ended the 2024 season with the playoff loss to the Timberwolves, and a respectable 6-4 record for the regular season.
