MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) - The City of Marysville, in collaboration with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Presidio Co., and Engstrom Properties Inc., is excited to announce the groundbreaking of Hyatt Studios Marysville, the first Hyatt branded hotel in the region.
This milestone event celebrates the growth of Marysville’s hospitality industry and the addition of a premier lodging option for the area.
The groundbreaking will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 1317 B St.
Set to open in late 2026, Hyatt Studios Marysville will be conveniently located at 1317 B St., adjacent to the junction of Highways 70 and 20, offering easy access for travelers.
The site is strategically situated near key regional hubs, including Beale Air Force Base and Adventist Health Rideout, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure guests. This development is expected to significantly enhance tourism in the area by providing high-quality accommodations that attract more visitors to Marysville and the surrounding region. Hyatt’s Chief Growth Officer, Jim Chu is set to attend the groundbreaking and share remarks about the new hotel.
Adding to the excitement, the City of Marysville is also celebrating the groundbreaking of two additional developments on the same site: a Grocery Outlet and a Starbucks. These projects will further enhance the convenience and amenities available to residents and visitors alike.
“This groundbreaking represents a major step forward for Marysville’s ongoing momentum and is directly aligned with the directives of our current city council to drive economic growth and community development,” said Dan Flores, the City of Marysville’s Community and Economic Development director. “These projects, particularly Hyatt Studios Marysville, will not only create jobs and improve amenities but also enhance tourism in our city, contributing to a lasting positive impact on our local economy.”
This is a pivotal moment for Marysville as the transformative developments will enrich the community and elevate its appeal as a destination, according to City of Marysville officials.
