Faith Christian Girls Basketball Defeats Wheatland

YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Faith Christian Lions varsity girls basketball team crushed the visiting Wheatland High Pirates in a non-league matchup on Friday, Nov. 22. The final score was 72-30. According to MaxPreps, the Lions put up double digits in each of the four quarters while the Pirates were held to single digits in each.

The Lions extended their undefeated season record to 2-0 three days later when they handled the visiting Forest Lake Christian Falcons on Nov. 25. Winning that game comfortably by a final score of 70-36.

With the loss on Friday, Nov. 22, Wheatland falls to 0-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to East Nicolaus to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
