Lindhurst High Sets Record with Eight State FFA Degrees

OLIVEHURST, CA (MPG) - On March 17, eight Lindhurst High School students were awarded the California FFA (Future Farmers of America) State Degree, the highest honor an FFA member can achieve at the high school level.
Since Lindhurst FFA started in 1975, Lindhurst FFA has earned 23 State FFA Degrees. With this year’s record-setting achievement, the historical total is being brought to 31 in just one year.
These dedicated students have met rigorous requirements, including completing at least three years of secondary Agricultural Education, performing 25-plus hours of community service, investing more than 500 hours into their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects, earning and productively investing more than $1,000 through their Supervised Agricultural Experience, participating in at least five FFA activities above the chapter level and serving as an FFA officer or committee member.
