YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Yuba Sutter Symphony’s Spring Fling Pops Concerts will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church on 1390 Franklin Rd.
“Because the Pops Concert is very popular with all ages of people, we will again have two performances this year. The Twin Rivers Charter School choir, directed by Jim Achilles, has been so well received, that we have invited them back to share their energetic and inspiring music accompanied by the Symphony,” said Conductor Maestro Corey Kersting.

The Pops Concerts will feature music from Hollywood, Broadway and other musicals and will include many favorite melodies that all ages will recognize and enjoy. Photo courtesy of Yuba Sutter Oratorio Society
This year’s concert will also feature soloists Kathryn and Thor Campbell.
Kersting continues, “Thor and Kathryn Campbell are two of our community’s most well-known singers, so we are very excited to have them join us for these concerts. They will share some songs from Les Miserable, Phantom of the Opera, and Porgy and Bess. The audience will be thrilled with their music.”
