YUBA CITY, CA (MPG) - The Sutter County Sheriff's Office and Yuba City Police Department will face off in a friendly competition this month during the annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.

The blood drive will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. June 16 and June 25 at the corner of Poole Boulevard and Civic Center Boulevard in Yuba City.

The event encourages residents to donate blood, support local first responders and vote for their favorite agency. Last year, the Sutter County Sheriff's Office claimed the Battle of the Badges trophy.

According to organizers, all blood collected during the drive will remain in the region to help local patients and families. Community members are encouraged to donate and participate in the competition.
