MARYSVILLE, CA (MPG) - Chloe Nguyen is a senior at River Valley High School. As the daughter of Dr. Loan Tran and Stan Nguyen, she is proud to say that she has been helping her family’s business, Butte View Optometry, since her youth. Many people may recognize her as a friendly and energetic girl who has helped them find their good-looking glasses! Chloe has been attending dual college-high school classes while maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA. When she graduates this June, she will receive a high school diploma as well as an Associate Degree! She plans to attend college and pursue a career in the STEM field. Chloe loves to sing and is often the one to start a karaoke night with her family and friends. She enjoys listening to K-pop and watching anime with her brother, Connor. She often shares photos of her cat, Luna. She proudly says that she has taught her cat how to shake, high-five, and fist bump. Chloe took the initiative to connect her school’s newly formed Asian American Pacific Islander club with the organizers of the 2022 Bok Kai Parade. She and her club members provided security at the barricades. They will help again this year. Chloe wants to thank all of the volunteers for their hard work. She also wants to remind the attendees to please show the volunteers their appreciation. For the Year of the Rabbit, Chloe wishes that everyone stays safe and enjoys success in their future endeavors.
